Show Me The Money: The Wake Up Call

  • WeWork South Williamsburg 109 South 5th Street Brooklyn, NY, 11249 United States (map)

Artists, creative entrepreneurs and everyone in between interested in building financial wealth, this is the night to ask questions and learn more about money management, funding options and credit. We encourage you to be proactive in learning about personal options while also networking with others in similar creative fields and with similar interests and goals - financially, artistically or otherwise.

the SLAPcollective and special guest, financial expert Ash “Cash” Exantus, will be hosting an evening of financial advisory and in-depth discussions about real-life finances through the creative lens of hip hop!

Our welcome and group dialogue highlighting some everyday practices and personal money management principles will be followed by a keynote discussion and an audio experience modeled after Ash’s most recently authored book, “The Wake Up Call: Financial Inspiration Learned from 4:44".

Jay-Z's 4:44 album serves as the blueprint to bridging the wealth gap and solving economic inequalities within African-American communities. Through deciphering the financial concepts delivered within the album, Ash offers a step by step guide on how to implement each financial principle to manage money more effectively within our communities and to build generational wealth.
