Purposefully Pretty: The Meet Up
The selfless motive that we owe it to the young women of our day to “Outreach, Teach and Inspire” them to achieve their dreams is a beautiful thing.
A group of women have joined forces sharing in the understanding that together they can make the world a better place. What started out as a blog is now a beacon of hope and empowerment for young girls who seek guidance as they navigate the turbulent waters of life. Initiatives like “A Girl Taking Action” and “Purposefully Pretty in Medicine” are the hallmarks through which these they preach their message of empowerment and self-belief to future generations.
On Saturday August 19th, 2017 Purposefully Pretty Inc. held a Meet Up for new and potential members at the Afrikan Poetry Theatre in Jamaica, Queens, New York City. The day centered around the spirit of the organization and what it stands for. From mentorship, to resources, and community-centered events, Purposefully Pretty was on full display for all to see.
The women of tomorrow were invited to experience for themselves the testimonials of the Purposefully Pretty team members and were even encouraged to take the stage to speak on behalf of their own hopes and dreams.
Founder Diamond Craig, during her guest appearance on the Beautiful Minds Podcast, explained that every facet of Purposefully Pretty is personal for each member of her team. And that is one of the most amazing things about these women: they are each personally invested in the Purposefully Pretty brand, it’s makeup, it’s output, and the lives it changes.
With events happening each month, be sure to join them in making the world a better place for our young women.
